thanks for the tips! theyre great. my mom just got into scrapbooking. the only thing i can say is to remember when you’re dealing with photos that some things can destroy them over time like sticking them directly onto construction paper. the chemical makeup starts to eat away the photo after time. just something to keep in mind. after all the point of scrapbooking is to make the memories last.

I’ve always enjoyed scrapbooking. I do it for fun but I have a friend who makes them around one central theme and then sells them on ebay.

I just bookmarked this page. Truly a fact that a lot of allied stuffs like photography, embellishments and frames help in creative scrapbooking. The term alternative scrapbooking suits it aptly. But I think for beginners this would be a time consuming task rather this will help the avid scrapbookers. Cheers!

Nice article I also love scrapbooks. They are a great way to create a collage of your memories as you go through life; I like to hold on to tickets, photos or notes from events and then arrange them in a book, almost like a diary. If like me you are a bit picky with your arrangements then you might want to get some ‘blue tack’ to initially stick things down, so if you’re not happy with the placement of something you can always change its position; Happy scrap booking.

Scrapbooking is a great hobby of mine nad I try to do it as much as possible. I usually use photos along with other items – makes them seem more personal and something to look back on in future years.

The key to scrapping is start easy and finish pages. Once you start to see the fruits of your labor you’ll want to branch out to more advanced methods and looks like these.

I don’t personally make money on scrapbooking. Rather, I do it for the enjoyment and memories! I think the framing idea is fantastic!

It is always pleasurable to recollect the moments in your life by looking at your memory book. Making a memory book with more than one themes is easy to organize especially if you use inexpensive scrapbooking supplies.

i have seen hgtv shows featuring altered books. i like when you can insert a treasure inside the book by cutting out a square shape in the pages. it make a fun hiding place.

What a great idea for holiday or birthday gifts: making a scrapbook page on an art canvas! It is like an original piece of artwork. I see the creative door opening for some very nice pieces. I would put a wash of color on the canvas with acrylics then build the piece with photos and embellishments.
